To ensure a perfect fit when replacing your uPVC or composite door handle, there are two key measurements to consider.

Backplate Fixing Centres:

Also called "fixing centres," this measurement is taken from the centre of one fixing screw to the centre of the other on the internal door handle.

Handle Centres (PZ Measurement):

Also referred to as the "PZ measurement," this is the distance from the centre of the square spindle hole (where the handle lever attaches) to the centre of the keyhole.
