Simply closing the window resets the hinge automatically.

Manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, this hinge is designed for long-lasting operation and comes in two stack heights—13mm and 17mm—with adjustable friction to accommodate various window weights. It is capable of meeting BS 6375 standards as part of a compliant window system, complies with BS EN 13126-6:2008, and supports the requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document B (Fire Safety) 2006 edition when installed in a suitably sized window.

For enhanced security, PAS 24:2012 compliance can be achieved when paired with a Hingeguard, which engages only under forced attack, preventing the friction hinge from disengaging.
